VERMONT!!

We are learning about our great state this year.  Our first unit will focus on learning state facts (necessary for the rest of the year) and diving into a closer look at our state’s culture.  We will be acting as travel agents and have been charged with boosting tourism in VT.

With an emphasis on change over time our driving question is:

How do we, as travel agents make a brochure to boost tourism in VT?

Each student has chosen one specific piece of culture and will become an expert on this topic and how it relates to VT.  This information will then be used to design a persuasive brochure that might intice a person to visit our state.
