We’ve just had our fiftieth music day this year! At this point we have reviewed all nine notes on the recorders and are trying different songs that use a variety of those notes.  We have only worked “sparsely” on our recorders, however,  as our main focus in music is preparing songs for our Cabaret night,  which is getting closer!!!  

 

We will be performing songs from classic musicals like “Oklahoma!”, as well and singing from more modern Broadway musicals like “Mathilda”.    Our enthusiasm is building for this fun presentation!!!  

 

June will bring a study of musical instrument families, among other things.
