Word Work
We spent the week learning about open and closed syllables. We also spent more time on vowel teams and learning when to use a capital letters. We played Lotto games, did sorts and played guess it.
In writing we started personal narratives. We worked on the beginning part of our stories which include a hook, a topic sentence and the setting. We have written these stories and are currently typing them into a google doc.
