As a class, we have been reading The Giraffe the Pelly and Me By Roald Dahl.  We have been learning about character traits and providing supporting evidence.  In the book, the three friends have a window cleaning business and are hired to clean the windows of a large home on an estate.  On the job, they catch a burglar and are handsomely rewarded by the estate’s owner, The Duke.  As in most Roald Dahl books, there are many twists and turns that are exciting and unexpected.  After having finished the book, we worked on character picture maps.  Each student chose a character form the book, drew the character and labeled the character with traits.  These picture maps are turning out beautifully and we wanted to share them with you!  They will be displayed in our hallway upon completion.  Next up – a character trait picture map of ourselves.
