The 2/3 artists continued working on their wooden sculptures and painted the entire base black. Artists did this in order to make the next step pop!
When artists finished painting, they chose cellophane pieces in their desired color schemes – warm colors, cool colors, primary, opposite colors, etc. Artists measured and traced the shapes they needed to cut from the cellophane and glued them onto the negative spaces of their sculpture. These sculptures are absolutely stunning and light up a room like stained glass when the sun hits them! Keep an eye out for them in the school – we’re currently on the search for a location to display them!
