The 2/3 students have been working tirelessly on their portfolio entries. We have also been practicing winter clothing/sports vocabulary to aid the students in their endeavors to create coherent Spanish sentences. Ask your child about Box Pasalo or have them draw you an example of the “box game” using color, number, or classroom object vocabulary.
Next up: Glorious food! We will learn and review food vocabulary, counting (using play money), and basic conversational phrases through our food unit. We will set up a bodega in our classroom where we will shop, bag groceries, and set up food displays.
