STEM Challenge – Marble Maze

This week in STEM, the 2/3 class finished their portfolio reflections on their work during the project on engineering and circuits. After they were done, they reviewed the Engineering Design Process as they tackled a new design challenge: to create a marble maze that took a marble 60 to complete. The 2/3s did a wonderful job using creative materials, thinking about the angle of their runs, and trying to find innovative ways to slow down the marble. They built off of the mazes started by the 5/6 class, and their mazes were added to by the 3/4s- it was great to see how all the student engineers worked with each other’s designs!
