The 2/3 class has finished their second project with the completion of

The Vermont Day School Bill of Rights

The class had successful presentations to multiple groups which make up the VDS community.  Well done to all for your hard work, dedication and  perseverance.

The Vermont Day School Bill of Rights

A right is something that everyone should be able to do.

We have right to project based learning

Project based learning is to gain skills and knowledge from inquiry and research while working with classmates using technology and doing hands-on projects.

We have the right to be creative

To be creative is to do activities to learn using your own ideas and artistic minds, inventing, making new products and always trying new things.

We have the right to work in different ways

To work independently or collaborate with others.  Working at VDS looks focused, creative hands on and exciting.

We have the right to be in a safe environment.

Safe environment is being safe with others also doing

What you are suppose to  do.

We have the right to be part of our school community

To be part of the VDS community means being engaged and listening while working together, supporting each other, learning together and celebrating together.

We have the right to stand up for each other and ourselves

Standing up for yourself  and for each other is to care, help, support be aware and solve problem.

We have the right to be outside

To be outside means to breath clean air, get energy out and to be active and it sounds loud or quiet and joyful and it looks natural and awesome.
