Green Team continues to work on double digit addition strategies and daily routine.  We worked on adding by place value and stacking numbers to add them.  We are mastering our daily routine: 3 minute math which supports fluency in one digit addition and subtraction, number of the day and our daily work.  

Red Team worked on understanding the relationship between multiplication and division.  We focused our attention on the 4 facts.  We are mastering our daily routine: 3 minute fact fluency, partner fact practice and daily work.

 

Both teams spent time working in their math journals.  We worked on MESS (models, equation, solution, sentence) problems and a few of us checked in on our “I can” statements.  Well done mathematicians.
