iHola Familias!

The 2/3 students have wrapped up their fall assessments and did a wonderful job! I was especially impressed with how thoughtfully the children read through questions, wrote in complete sentences and double checked their work.

We also just completed our portfolio reflections in Spanish.  Students wrote about areas of strength, areas for improvement and set goals for the next quarter.

Hopefully, we will have time to create tin foil calaveras (skulls) in honor of El Dia de los Muertos. I encourage you all to take your children to see Disney’s new film, Coco, over vacation. It is about a child in Mexico’s journey to the land of his ancestors and provides insight into The Day of the Dead and its significance to families in Mexico.
