The Grade 2/3 students have begun doing some rhythm sight reading cards to get themselves ready for note reading to come.  We used the single chord song,  “There Was an Old Woman” to help us work on steady beat accompaniment on the xylophones and the autoharp,  and “When the Saints Go Marchin’ In” to figure out a simple rhythm echo on the Boomwhackers.  We are also working on our (shhhhhhhhhh !) surprise presentation for Grandparent’s Day.  We are looking forward to the fun ahead!
